CareLex is a non-profit public benefit organization.

Think Open, Think CareLex
CareLex works with standards bodies, policy groups, research institutions and organizations such as the National Cancer Institute, HL7, Mayo Clinic, Stanford University, CareLex and many others to advance technologies that drive significant positive advancements in health sciences for humanity. In 2014 CareLex sponsored and led development of the OASIS ETMF Standard for clinical trial content and data classification.
In 2016 the ETMF Standard Model was published by OASIS Open, followed by publication of the ETMF Standard ontology by NCI EVS and the National Center for Bio Ontology (NCBO). Since its publication, the OASIS ETMF Standard has been used by thousands of health science professionals and organizations globally as a tool to automate and optimize manual processes in clinical trial development.
With the explosive growth of AI for drug discovery and development, CareLex's mission of sponsoring technology standards to optimize, accelerate and enhance quality in healthcare and life sciences will be increasingly important and meaningful.
